As Dave Kilminster’s lead guitar chirped through Pink Floyd’s “Dogs,” Waters discharged his former band’s infamous swine down upon the crowd.

Often graffitied with poignant slogans, tonight’s inflatable ghoul bore a marking that read “Piggy Bank of War.” The animal itself references Pink Floyd’s song “Pigs (Three Different Ones),” a nasty tune that describes the type of humans who aren’t afraid to “roll around in the mud” to maintain their grip on power. In this case, they’re as happy as “pigs in sh#t” to make money from war. Endless war. And, as the projection screens warn, if you protect their interests and follow them fiercely in the hopes that their dollars will some day fall upon you; well, you don’t understand their true nature. Pigs will be pigs, after all, and a little bit fascist: You’ll get nothing from them for your service. In fact, the photos above spell out this pithy equation:

iProtect [the Dear Leader]  +  iFollow [the Dear Leader]  =  iLose [to the Dear Leader]
