ICE-scrapers and Trump is coming

Your city should watch its throat

They called her a “bitch” for running

One slit up in Miniea-Sote

One slit up in Miniea-Sote

Cut her three times

Did they!

Their blades keep dicing us down

Just like the Kent State Guard before

And to our big crowds

Passing

They warn “Don’t make her bad choice —

We’ll have to ruin your life or more”

ICE-nappers and Trump is coming

You parents should batten your kids

They called her a “bitch” for running

One body on the boulevard skids

One body on the boulevard skids

Caught her three times

Did they!

Their hooks keep hauling us down

Just like old Nixon did before

They blush at the press

“You know,

These bums get what they deserve

And it’s no dragnet here — it’s war!”

ICE-fishers and Trump is coming

Your city’s just fin and bone

They called her a “bitch” for running

One gutted in the video shown

References:

(1) “ICE” = United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a federal police force under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security.

(2) “Miniea-Sote” = Short for the state of Minnesota. In particular, the city of Minneapolis there.

(3) “Her” = Renee Nicole Good (1988-2026), a 37-year old citizen of the United States and Minneapolis resident with three kids.

(4) “Three times” = On January 7, 2026, an ICE agent shot Good three times in the face as she tried to maneuver her mini van away from him during an encounter (on Portland Avenue between East 33rd and East 34th Streets) in Minneapolis. After she died, her van slid across the street until crashing into a car parked on the side of the road. She was just blocks from her home. Multiple bystanders took video of the incident, including her partner.

(5) “Bitch” = The agent who shot Good captured himself on his own cell phone calling her a “fucking bitch” immediately after discharging his weapon.

(6) “Kent State Guard” = On May 4, 1970, the Ohio National Guard killed four students at Kent State University who were protesting the United States’ increased involvement in Cambodia during the Vietnam War. Neil Young wrote his original song with the incident in mind a few days later.

(7) “They warn” = On January 9, 2026, a United States Customs and Border Protection agent was caught on video telling a Minneapolis woman in a car he stopped: “Don’t make a bad decision today and ruin your life” — apparently suggesting she could wind up like Good.

(8) “Nixon” = Richard M. Nixon (1913-1994), the 37th President of the United States from 1969-1974.

(9) “You know, these bums” = On April 30, 1970, in a televised address to the nation, Nixon announced that the United States was invading Cambodia. The next day, on May 1st, students on college campuses across the country added this declaration to the list of Vietnam-related actions they were protesting. As Nixon headed to a meeting at the Pentagon that morning, he stopped to speak to a group of civilian employees and others who had assembled in a corridor to greet him. He told them: “You see these bums, you know, blowing up the campuses. Listen, the boys that are on the college campuses today are the luckiest people in the world, going to the greatest universities, and here they are burning up the books, storming around about this issue. You name it. Get rid of the war there will be another one.”
