Two weeks ago, when Mayor de Blasio went on YouTube to announce his run for the presidency, he joined 22 other Democrats vying for the 2020 title. But what sets him apart from the rest of the field? His popularity? Nope. Working long hours at City Hall? Never. Listening to feedback from Community Boards? Not a chance. Maybe rooting for the Boston Red Sox? Now there’s an idea, but no: He’s actually running so he doesn’t have to be here! I mean, what better excuse to escape from New York?
